UN ESCAP Global Hackathon
Using AI for Digital Trade Regulatory Analysis

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific ran a global hackathon on using AI for digital trade regulatory analysis. Our entry, TradeWise, made the top 20 worldwide and took us through to the semi-finals.
I was responsible for the engineering of the software.
I was the only student on the team. The other four are academics at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, so the legal and policy thinking behind the product came from people who teach it for a living.
